The combination of plans and photographs can enhance the presentation of archaeological results quite easily.
This example shows the bath building at the Umayyad site of Balis (Syria) in its excavated state at the end of the 2002 season. Incorporated in the building plan (created in Macromedia FreeHand) are photos of details, overviews and some finds.

Work on a Website for the Balis Project at Princeton University is currently under way.
